Do you own a house, holiday home or other property and you can’t be there, because of work, travels or illness? Or your house is still for sale, while you already moved out? Then you might need someone to look after your property. We, Victor and Ingrid, are experienced live-in house sitters and we would love to look after your place while you are away.

The benefits of asking house sitters to look after your property are in short: it will give you peace of mind while you are away and time to spare when you come back. You will never have to worry about one, or more, of the following scenarios: How is my garden looking? Does the lawn need mowing? Have the weeds won the battle against my prize winning roses? Is my house still safe and secure? Is the swimming pool still swimmable when I return, or has the turquoise blue water changed to algae green?  What about my house? Has it had unwanted visitors, while I am gone? Who is going to water the plants when it's hot, pick up my mail and keep me updated?

You may have a friendly neighbour who keeps an eye on things, but it isn’t the same as when house sitters live on your premises: Your house will be safe, secure and clean, the garden and pool maintained and mail will be looked after. If your house is up for sale and you are already enjoying your newly bought house elsewhere, we make sure your property will look ship shaped during property viewings.

Short bio: We are Victor (1972) and Ingrid (1968), two Dutch best friends and animal lovers. Besides being very trustworthy, easy going, discreet, fit, friendly, outdoorsy, insured, organized, independent and cool-headed, we also have heaps of house and pet sit experience (more than 10 years non-stop!). Not only in France, but in The Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Portugal as well. We are specialized in ultra long-term house/castle/propery sits and currently we are looking for a new project in France, Italy, Portugal, Spain or elsewhere.

Update 2023: While we are enjoying another ultra-long house sit, or in this case a castle sit (!), we sometimes make ourselves available for short house/pet-sits in our neighbourhood: Hérault, France. So when you have pets and you need or want to go away for a while: for a small fee per day one of us will look after them and your house in a very professional manner.
