Ingrid (1968) was born in The Netherlands. After a career in DTP/Graphic Design she decided to leave her homeland in 2002 to travel the world and she hasn’t been back since. She travelled and worked independently in several countries: Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Thailand, Australia, St. Martin and Nicaragua to name a few.
In 2012 it was time to move back to Europe and, together with Vic, she discovered that housesitting was the perfect way to spend time in the most beautiful places, while helping people out by looking after their home and belongings.
Ingrid speaks Dutch, English, enough Spanish and reasonable French. She loves animals and gardening. Big cities or the middle of nowhere: she feels at home everywhere.

Victor (1972) has also travelled a lot. Privately, as well as for work. He was in the Dutch Marine Corps for 8 years so he feels comfortable in all sorts of places and situations. After his military career he worked for the Department of Justice for 10 years.
In 2012 Vic and Ingrid joined forces, and by now he has more than 10 years experience in house sitting. He is great with animals, enjoys the odd diy job and also knows how to handle and do small maintenance on garden tools like strimmers, chainsaws, hedge cutters and sit mowers. He speaks Dutch, English, German and a little bit of French.
Victor and Ingrid have been best friends (not a couple) since 1995.
